Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar was elected as MLA of Karnal constituency and appointed as Chief Minister of Haryana in 2014 elections. He was preceded by former Chief Minister of Haryana state Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Mr. Khattar was born on 5 May, 1954 at Nindana village of Maham tehsil in Rohtak district of Haryana. Mr. Harbans Lal Khattar is the name of his father. He education has been completed from Pandit Neki Ram Sharma Government College, Rohtak and Delhi University. He is former RSS Pracharak and present BJP Leader.
Mr. Manohar is a bachelor and according to his official website he wants to spend his life in the service of people. Haryana Legislative Assembly election 2014 was his first attempt and he won with a decent margin of votes. He was also popular for his controversial statements over the “Dressing of Girls”.
